Scheduled Maintenance on December 5 - 6, 2015

ITS Maintenance Window on Dec 5, 2015

The following maintenance will be carried out on Dec 5, 2015 (this Saturday) and among them, the major services to be affected include:

  1. Network services in Centennial Campus and Cyberport: 1 pm - 4 pm
  2. In-house applications for staff under HKU Portal: 9 pm - 11 pm
  3. IP phone system in Main Campus: 10 pm - 11:59 pm

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Internet border routers for firmware upgrade and line card installation

Network services in Centennial Campus and Cyberport will experience an interruption of less than 10 minutes during the maintenance period.

9:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Central servers supporting various HKU Portal applications for applying OS patch

All in-house applications for staff (e.g. Performance Review and Development System/Performance Review and Staff Development System) under HKU Portal. The application of HKU Portal UID and online application form for change of HKU Portal PIN may be affected.

10:00 pm - 11:59 pm

Cisco server supporting IP phone system in Main Campus for firmware upgrade

Intermittent interruptions of less than 30 seconds to all IP phones (phone numbers start with 3917) in Main Campus. Ongoing calls will not be affected.
