Disaster Recovery (DR) is the process of recovering critical services when the primary computing sites declare failure. ITS provides disaster recovery services at alternate data centres other than the primary data centre in main campus. The scope of services includes availability of network connectivity, storage, server hardware/VM at DR site for drill and recovery.
- DR site with fully-equipped data centre environment
- Real-time data replication service if subscribing the central SAN storage
- Availability of network, storage, server hardware/VM at the DR site
Departments/faculties using central web server cloud and ITS cloud services are bundled with the DR service that offers real-time data replication by default. In case departments are looking for DR service for their own servers, they can contact ITS to check the availability.
