Say Goodbye to "Disk Quota" on HKU Connect

Unlimited Disk Quota

Disk quota is something of the past for HKU Connect, which is the primary email system for HKU students and graduates.

HKU Connect is an email service powered by Google Inc.  It was launched in 2010; and there are more than 50,000 student and graduate accounts on this email platform today.  Following a recent announcement of Google, the disk quota of 30GB for an account has been lifted.  In other words, there is no limit to the size of disk storage that an account consumes.

Current students who are still using the in-house email systems may register to migrate their email accounts to HKU Connect by following the procedures outlined at http://www.its.hku.hk/faq/email/connect/students/how-to-register.
