Notes for Registration:

  1. Users can register on-line for attending the ITS training courses by visiting HKU Portal ( > My Page tab > Campus Information Services > Central IT Services > Workshops and Courses.
  2. Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail or phone at least one week before the commencement of the course.
  3. Some courses are co-organized with external course providers and a fee is required for this kind of courses. For courses that require a fee, please send your payment to ITS after online registration is done.  If no payment is received within 2 working days, the registration will be considered invalid.
  4. Payment can be made by cheque (payable to "The University of Hong Kong") or through departmental requisition (for applicants supported by departments). For the latter case, you can submit your order through HKU Portal ( (My Page tab > Campus Information Services > Central IT Services > Order License and Goods) or by using the ITS Order Form (CF-36) available at
  5. The maximum number of participants for a course depends on the seating capacity of the course venues.  They are -
    - 22 seats in Room 201, Run Run Shaw Building
    - 18 seats in Room 101, Run Run Shaw Building
