New Charging Rates for Technical Support Services

Information Technology Services provides various kinds of technical support services to departments, such as operating audio and visual equipment for events; supporting video collaboration facilities; installing network points and PCs; and checking/restoring departmental servers, on a cost-recovery basis.

A new charging scheme for technical support services as shown in the following table will take effect from May 1, 2013.  Please note that for services provided on Saturdays, Sundays and University holidays, the charge is in blocks of four hours, whereas the charge is on an hourly basis for other timeslots.
