Notes for Registration:

  1. Users may apply on-line for attending the above courses by logging in the HKU Portal (https://hkuportal.hku.hk) => My Page tab => Campus Information Services => Central IT Services => Workshops and Courses
     
  2. Successful applicants of a course will be notified by e-mail or telephone at least one week before the commencement of the course.
     
  3. Some courses are organised in conjunction with external course providers. There is a fee charged on such courses. For courses requiring a fee, please send your payment to Information Technology Services as soon as you have registered for the course, otherwise your registration is considered invalid.
    Payment can be made by cheque (payable to "The University of Hong Kong"), or through departmental requisition (for applicants supported by departments). In the latter case, you may do it by following the path - login HKU Portal (https://hkuportal.hku.hk) => My Page tab => Campus Information Services => Central IT Services => Order License and Goods, or by using the CC Order Form (CF-36) available at http://www.its.hku.hk/forms
     
  4. The maximum number of participants for a course depends on the course venue as follows -
    - 26 in Room 135 & 136, Old Library Building
    - 22 in Room 201, Run Run Shaw Building
    - 18 in Room 101, Run Run Shaw Building
