I cannot receive new mail, and I CANNOT DELETE old mail, is my disk quota exceeded?

The disk quota limit for all graduate accounts is 10MB. You will receive a warning message when you have used 85% of your disk quota.

If you have exceeded your disk quota, you will not be able to receive new mail or delete old mail because the trash folder cannot be increased in size.

To fix the disk quota problem, please do either one of the following methods:

1) Borrow Temporary Disk Quota

When your disk quota is full, you cannot delete mail because the trash folder cannot be created or increased in size.

You must use the following ways to delete mail:

Borrow some temporary disk space at

  1. Click the link "Check Quota".
  2. Click the link "Check or temporarily adjust your quota on".
  3. Enter your username and password.
  4. When the disk quota page appears, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Confirm" to borrow some temporary disk space.
  5. Wait 5 minutes, and then login webmail and delete mail.

2) Delete Mails Without Moving to Trash Folder
