We are pleased to announce that a new app “Change HKU Portal PIN” (App) is available for download starting from 6 December 2017. It facilitates University staff and students to change HKU Portal PIN at their fingertips using mobile devices.
This new App allows staff and students to change their PIN through the following ways:
For those who can remember their HKU Portal PIN, they can change their PIN directly via the App after HKU Portal login.
For those who forgot their HKU Portal PIN, they can change it via the App using their registered alternate email address, mobile phone number or secret question.
For staff and students who forgot their HKU Portal PIN and have not registered alternate means to change their PIN, a paper form submission via CF-111 to ITS is still necessary to arrange a reset. However, we will arrange to register their mobile phone number and alternate email address at the same time so that they can change their PIN themselves in future.

Please download the new App and try it now (available on Android version 4.0 or above and Apple iOS version 8.0 or above) -
Staff and students who have not yet registered their mobile phone number and email address please spare a minute to complete the registration by clicking here. This can avoid the hassles of submitting a paper form in case you forget the HKU Portal PIN next time.
